Introduction

ClickProfiles respects each individual’s right to personal privacy.  We will collect and use information through our web site only in the ways disclosed in this statement.  This statement applies solely to information collected at the ClickProfiles web site. Part I.  Information Collection

ClickProfiles collects information through our web site at several points.  We collect the following information about registered users: name and email address. Registered users can also supply their town/city of residence and telephone contact number, but these are optional and do not prevent registered users making full use of the site.

Our servers also log information including IP addresses, sites which have referred visitors to ClickProfiles and the type of browsers they are using. While we may use this information in our marketing this will be provided as overall totals.

ClickProfiles does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.

We collect this information through registration forms (names and personal details, etc) and automatic logging files (IP addresses).

Banner advertising appearing on our Web site may lead you to an advertiser's server, where they may employ their own methods of collecting data. Please note that ClickProfiles has no control over this.

Part II.  Information Usage

The information collected by ClickProfiles will be used to provide and develop our services.  Users who provide information will receive email announcements including information we believe will be of interest to them, but only if they have opted-in to receive these emails. These announcements may include commercial messages.  Out of respect for the privacy of our users, we present the option to not receive these types of communications.

We will not share data with third parties. We understand that this is perhaps the most important privacy issue when dealing with a registered user base and we are pleased to state that the email addresses of all users will not be passed on.

We offer links to other web sites.  Please note: When you click on links to other web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies.  Their standards may differ from ours.

If our policy on information collection or uses changes, we will advise registered users via email (if they have opted to receive such mails) and by marking the link to this page as [UPDATED].

Part III.  Access to Information

ClickProfiles maintains the accuracy of our information by making regular checks to the best of our abilities.  Users may access their own personal information using the 'my calendar' page and contact us about inaccuracies they may find.

Registered users who do not wish to receive emails from us can opt-out using the 'my calendar' page. If a registered user would like all their details removed from our files they can use our feedback form or email us at update@clickprofiles.com.

Part IV. Problem Resolution

If problems arise, users may contact ClickProfiles using our feedback form or via email at info@clickprofiles.com.  We are committed to resolving disputes within the shortest amount of time and endeavour to respond to all emails within 24 hours.

Part V. Data Storage and Security

ClickProfiles makes a commitment to protect user information to the best of our abilities. We ask our server administrators to do the same, but cannot be held responsible for any lapses in security.
